Community Service

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND.
Ipswich High School Sophomores & Juniors can volunteer with ICAM
to earn their required Community Service credits.

There are continual requests in our community for volunteers
to record local sports, shows, and other events around town.
Help preserve history and capture these unique and special moments
happening in our town by becoming involved with ICAM!

We additionally have editing and computer (design, animation, etc) work opportunities for students interested in work inside our office.  If you would like more info about getting Community Service credit with ICAM, please email or call the office.  IcamIpswichVideo@gmail.com. 978-356-0353.

We rely on volunteers to make productions possible!  If you have an idea for a local broadcast, contact us and we can explore your ideas!

We do try and offer basic training workshops a few times a year.  Any Ipswich Resident interested in becoming a Volunteer with ICAM
can attend one of our training workshops or call/email the office to request a training session if we do not have any posted.  Examples of training are:

• Training for Field Production: 3 two-hour sessions, once a week.
Learn techniques for camera operation, microphones, tripods,
and other video equipment and accessories.
Upon completion, you may sign-up for one-on-one Adobe Premiere Editing training.

•Training for Multi-Camera Studio Production: 3 two-hour sessions, once a week.
Learn how to operate studio cameras, video switcher, audio mixer,
technical directing, lighting and more.

• One-on-one training for specific events is also offered.

Volunteers can be 12 yrs or older to attend classes.
Kids from 12 – 18 yrs of age must have a signed release from a Parent/Guardian.
